Andrew Warburton has been designing and making hand-tufted rugs and carpets since graduating in 1988 and set up Area Rugs and Carpets in 2002. Based in a converted mill in Mir eld, Andrew designs and collaborates with artists, architects, interior designers and fashion designers to create one-off pieces for reception rugs, wall art and contract quality carpet.

Area Rugs and Carpets is now one of the leading hand tufting companies in the UK achieving a growing reputation amongst interior designers and architects and providing reception area rugs for prestigious head offices such as HSBC, Freemantle Media and the BBC.
