Craft Week at Soundart Radio

Craft Week 16th-20th July

All events at Soundart studios, Dartington: no need to book in advance. Children must be accompanied for all events.

Feltmaking Monday 16th 10am-3pm

Come and learn how to make felt in this one day workshop. Using soft, dyed and local curly wool we will create magic with our hands. We will explore how to make strong and beautiful objects, a flat piece of felt in the morning and a purse or felted soap in the afternoon. All materials provided.£15 a head, plus small charge for materials.

Bottle Top Jewellery Wednesday 18th 10am-3pm

We will hammer metal bottle tops into badges, pendants or bracelets. Bring any of your favourite pictures, maps or comics along and take home a unique piece of jewellery. We will be using hammers and glue, so any children under 8 will need grown up help. £5 per adult, £3 per child.
Clothes swap and chop Friday 20th 10am-3pm

Bring stuff to laugh at, swap, cut up, stitch onto, and generally decorate. New clothes from old, sharing, tea and conversation. We provide a sewing box, machines, ribbons and bibbons. Broadcast live throughout the day.

£10 per person, some materials included.
