Call out for Production/Stage Manager

Production/Stage Manager required for touring production of 'Grimm’s Faerie Feast' with critically acclaimed Northern Theatre Company.
Touring December 2015 and into 2016.
Join the brothers Grimm as they cook up a feast of miraculous stories and surprising yet delectable food. Taste the words of the stories and smell the melody of the songs in this fantastic new version of the Grimm’s tales.
Grimm's Faerie Feast integrates quality culinary treats created by award winning chef Simon Taylor, beautiful new music and a script created by Ian McMillan. This has all been developed alongside Proper Jobs trademark visual, dynamic and visceral style.
Come along to the performance for a taste of the stories, a wander through the interactive installations and to be swept away to the weird and wonderful world of Grimm’s.

This play will be directed and produced by Proper Job Theatre Company with rehearsals taking place in Huddersfield. It will then be touring to The Met, Bury for December 2015 and across Northern venues at the beginning of 2016 (2016 to be contracted separately).

Person specification:

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

• Working on mid scale touring productions
• Managing and coordinating budgets
• Coordination of production of set, sound and lighting
• Working to tight deadlines
• Managing own time
• A sound knowledge of relevant health and safety procedures
• Good technical knowledge

Interview date: 26th October – Proper Job Offices, Huddersfield

Development period: 31st October – 24th November, Huddersfield

Rehearsal dates: 26th November – 16th December (exact dates and times TBC)

Performance dates: 17th December – 24th December, The Met, Bury

Fee: £2000 inclusive of expenses and accommodation. Exact days and times to be negotiated between successful applicant and company.

You will need to be available during all the dates listed above (but not necessarily needed - see above in fee section). You must be available from Friday 11th December to 24th December.

The additional tour dates in 2016 will be discussed with the successful applicant and contracted separately.
