Mark Coombs Photography Photography / Website Design
I am an amatuer photographer based in Ivybridge. Since first showing my photographs to the public in 2007 I have been showing my work around Devon at various galleries and art shows and have received a lot of positive comments and praise for my work.
Chris Burchell, The Wharf gallery curator, said of my work “Since leaving the RAF, Coombs has built a fine reputation for his work. His painterly vision offers a new perspective to landscape photography.
I endeavour to capture images with my cameras to produce images that are more creative and different to the norm. Whatever I photograph I always try to look for that little something extra, an unusual angle, light or subject, something that will lift an image above the ordinary. I don't always achieve it but it's something I like to pursue.
I predominantly use traditional 35mm and medium format film cameras, using slide film, as I find using film more challenging than digital. Also there is something special about seeing your captured images on a light box.
I am also available for website design. I don't do flashy all singing and dancing websites with special effects and e-commerce however I can provide a simple but effective website. See my website www.markcoombs.co.uk or give me a call on 07904861667 for details.
