On Wednesday 13 June, we will introduce you to the technique of screenprinting, where ink is pushed through a frame covered in a fine mesh, (the ‘screen’), onto a surface underneath, using a ‘squeegee’. Learners will be guided through the process of creating layered colour prints, using simple hand-cut paper stencils which block or ‘mask’ out areas of the screen.
