Dromos Festival Young Producer (18-25)

Dromos Festival Young Producer (18-25)

An opportunity to kick-start your career in the arts!

Are you aged 18-25 and looking to pursue a career in the arts? West Sussex Arts Partnership is offering an exciting opportunity for three young people to develop valuable skills and experience through working together to produce and run a high profile arts festival, supported by a team of industry mentors.

Dromos is a traveling arts festival, now in its second year, which will take place in three locations across West Sussex in July 2012. The festival was created to provide skills development opportunities for young people looking to pursue a career in the arts. Dromos forms part of the Ahead of the Game Cultural Programme, funded by Arts Council England.

Working alongside existing members of the production team, you will lead the programming, production and delivery of the festival. We’re particularly interested in enthusiastic individuals that are interested in developing skills in festival production, marketing, audience development, event programming, financial management, fundraising, equalities & accessibility and site management.

You’ll be given the chance to work with a team of experienced industry mentors, who will support you throughout the process and help you in your development, and you will receive a bursary in addition to travel costs and basic expenses.

This is a really exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in the arts!
