Hello. It's been a while. Two years in fact since we last met and we all know what's happened in between.

Resilience may seem like an obvious theme for WR#8 given most people's experience of the last two years, but our community has an opportunity to reset and build stronger links and foundations. Our question is what does it take to build a sustainable creative community that can grow, support and weave itself into the very fabric of the town?

We have three inspirational speakers lined up for you...

Ian Berry is a Huddersfield-born artist with an international profile through his intricate application of denim to create wonderfully detailed portraits and landscapes.

Jane Bowyer runs manchester-based A studio called Jane. With a vibrant blend of design and illustration, Jane creates visual solutions tailored to the values of local heroes and global leaders alike.

Iain Bennett is a culture and creative industries consultant and founder Director of The Fifth Sector. He has started and managed businesses in film, television, theatre and digital media and cluster and incubation projects in the University and public sectors.

We’ll also deliver some headline insight into the Creative Bubbles project plus everyone attending will get the opportunity to tell us what support you would value.
