I am a self taught artist/sculptor living in Torbay.
Specializing in Raku and smoke firing techniques - mainly interested in capturing the expression and attitude of a subject. My work includes figurative, animals and bird forms.
I work from life and photographs. Surface texture, colour and glaze effects/mishaps are an important part of my work, especially the results of the Raku process. Each sculpture is completely unique.
Happy to answer any questions about Raku and my work.
I am a member of the Westcountry Potters Association. I have learnt so much through this group that I recommend anyone interested in ceramics to join.
Currently exhibiting at :-
