Trestle Film | Young Filmmakers Cinema
Trestle Film Invites Young Filmmakers to Showcase Their Talent
At Trestle Film, we're dedicated to amplifying the voices of aspiring young creators. Our Young Filmmakers Cinema is seeking original, imaginative films made by people aged 11 to 25. This is your chance to have your work screened at the Trestle Arts Base in St Albans.
The rise of affordable filmmaking technology has made the art form more accessible than ever before. Young people everywhere now have the power to share their unique perspectives and stories with wider audiences. We're excited to see how you choose to wield this medium.
Whether your passion lies in fiction, documentary, live-action, or animation - we want to see it all. Don't worry if you're new to filmmaking, either. The BFI's ‘Into Film’ Charity offers a wealth of free resources and guides to support creators at every skill level.
So, what are you waiting for? If you've already produced a standout film, submit it now. If not, get out there and start shooting! This is your opportunity to have your creative voice heard on the big screen. We can't wait to be inspired by your work.
Just remember, if you're 17 or younger, you'll need parental/guardian consent to participate.
The stage is yours. Lights, camera, action!
To submit your film simply fill out the form below or email a link along with some information about why and how you created it to takingpart@trestle.org.uk no later than 5pm on the 25 November, for a chance to screen it at Trestle Young Filmmakers Cinema on Saturday 14 December 2024 at 6pm
Tickets: Pay What You Decide (suggested donation £8.50)
