AGM / Art Market / Torbay Open Studios

1. A date has been agreed for our next AGM – 3rd October 2014

2. TAA have been talking to Paignton Town Centre manager Matthew Dart about running an art market in Palace Avenue gardens. This event will take place on the weekend of 19th and 20th July. TAA will organise and steward the actual art market while others will organise a stage and music to complement the market. Artists are invited to contact TAA on our e-mail address Torbay.artnet@outlook.com if they are interested in booking a pitch at £15 per day to sell their art. Please bring own gazebos 3 x 3metres max.

3. Conversations are on-going to develop a local art trail. The current thinking is to have the event from 18th to 26th October which overlaps with the Torbay Festival of Poetry 2014 which runs 23/10/2014 - 27/10/2014, to the benefit both events.
