Choral fee £45; £40 for members of Dartington Community Choir and £20 for under 18s.

Building on the success of our previous choral workshops Dartington Community Choir is running another non-residential weekend workshop open to all singers. This year we will explore and sing JS Bach’s St John Passion.

The workshop will be conducted by David Ogden and will feature piano duet accompaniment played by John Bryden and Nick Wearne.

David is very well placed to lead us in such a wonderful work and is keen that we should sing the large choruses and chorales in German and the crowd and dramatic choruses in English. He will also talk about the piece and the informal performance of the choral parts of the work will be interspersed with readings and poems.
