This 1940s classic Bogart and Bergman film, set in Morocco during World War II, focuses on the themes of lost love, honour, duty, self-sacrifice and romance within a chaotic world. Exiled American former freedom fighter, Rick Blaine, runs the town’s most popular nightspot. He is forced to choose between his love for his ex, Ilsa, and helping her husband, Czechoslovak underground leader Victor Laszlo, escape the French State to continue his fight against the Nazis.
Casablanca is one of the most popular films of all time, with its rich smoky atmosphere, superb musical score and memorable dialogue.
