Kasia worked with staff and students from the University of Huddersfield, talked to market users and researched the unique market building to come up with designs derived from the architectural elements of the building.. The project is part of the Temporary Contemporary initiative which places contemporary art within vacant spaces within Queensgate Market. and is a partnership between the traders at Queensgate Market, Kirklees Council Markets and Creative Economy Teams and the School of Art, Design and Architecture, University of Huddersfield.
