South Devon College 80th Birthday Party Community Day

SOUTH DEVON COLLEGE are hosting the birthday party of a lifetime, opening their doors to the public for a Saturday community open day on 17 March to celebrate their 80th anniversary.

The FREE family friendly event – from 10am-3pm - features fun activities including: a kids zone with funfair rides, a bouncy castle, face painting and disco; live music & theatre performances; animal handling, feeding & exploring; free hair & beauty treatments; catwalk fashion shows; live science experiments; sports competitions; free car safety checks & the grand prix wheel change challenge; cooking demonstrations & afternoon ‘Ritz’ tea; art displays; and tours of the college campus, including the Noss Marine Academy. There will be refreshment outlets available throughout the day and community organisations attending to showcase their services. College Helpzone staff will also be on hand all day to offer free guidance, from career and course advice to financial assistance and transport.

The South Devon College community open day – FREE to all – will be held on Saturday 17 March from 10am – 3pm, at the College’s Vantage Point campus on Long Road in Paignton.
