Radio Anywhere
Would you like to learn more about radio broadcasting, and share the sounds of your own neighbourhood?
Soundart Radio is recruiting a team of Radio Ambassadors, who will learn how to make sound recordings, and even broadcast live, from events in their own community, thanks to funding from Awards for All.
We're looking forward to hearing a wide range of new sounds and voices from many places, including school concerts, sounds of woods and rivers, Sunday morning church services, live shows from living rooms and kitchens, and village fĂȘtes and meetings.
And hopefully all kinds of things we haven't yet imagined.
Get in touch if you'd like to be involved. You will need to commit to a 6 week course on Saturdays at Dartington, starting from early November, or our Spring course coming up next year. You don't need to have any previous radio experience, but you need to be willing to try new things.
Get in touch if you'd like to be involved, and tell us a bit about who you are, where you live, and how you would make the most of this opportunity to give your own neighbourhood a voice. You may be offered a free place on our training course.
