Sara Gilbert and Sara Evans will be "Surfacing" between 1st and 14th April with their latest exhibition of abstract work at the Chapel Gallery at Seale Hayne near Newton Abbot. Both are resident artists at the site which is run by the Dame Hannah's charity for the disabled based at Ivybridge.
The two Sara's have studios opposite each other at Seale Hayne and have started producing some collaborative work for this exhibition. Both women have a love of abstract art and have bought together their artistic skills and love of colour for this exhibition. Evans has a background as a ceramacist and mixed media artist, Gilbert is a painter and printmaker. Energetic and vibrant work has surfaced in this new work, open daily from 10 am to 5 pm (4 pm Sundays).
