Oil Painting Expressionist Landscape

OVERVIEW
This course is open to all abilities. Teaching and support will be tailored to each individual's capabilities to create a unique oil painting.
In this one day workshop you will learn how to use oil painting in a very dynamic and personal way to express your feelings and ideas on the canvas. From scratch to the final piece you will experience the plasticity and depth of oil colours and discover the free application of expressionist painting with its intense colours and generous textures.
All materials are provided and you will take home your final piece on stretched cotton canvas which, once dry, will be ready to display!

BASIC FACTS

The Tutor:
Eclectic artist currently based in the North of London. I studied art and worked as Interior Designer in Italy, where I’m from. After a summer course at Edinburgh College of Art, I continued to develop my artistic skills as a part-time student at Leith School of Art. I love architecture, large painting, illustration and portraits. Mixed media, bold colours, shapes and lines are defining my works.

OPEN TO: Over 18 yr olds. All abilities welcome….just a playful desire to be creative!

All materials are provided included a large landscape cotton stretched canvas
Tea, coffee and a light lunch is included
Cost of one day workshop: £85
Preferred payment method: PayPal or BACS
£30 of deposit required at time of booking. Full payment required prior to the start of the course.

An apron or working clothes, it can be messy!
Recycled glass jars (2 or 3) to be used as water pots
Some rags to clean your brushes
Smartphone or tablet to record progress and search for resources (optional)
