Poets/Creative Writers Wanted! Mental Health Project, St Albans

The St Albans Arts Team is seeking to engage a Poet/Creative Writer to be part of a pilot project and develop a series of workshops for mental health service users utilising the written word with the emphasis on poetry.

Working with the St Albans Arts Team and St Albans District Council, the aim is to run a pilot scheme of 8 workshops to establish best practice, with a District wide project to follow in phase 2.

We are looking for a Poet/Creative Writer with extensive experience of working within the Mental Health field, who can deliver high quality, person centred sessions. It is anticipated that the workshops will run from April to August 2014 working with local Mental Health partners and service users.

There is a fixed rate of £30.00 per hour.
