Get expert advice on new routes to enhancing your online profile, in a series of hands-on workshops…

Social Media – Why Bother?

Like it or not, creatives are operating in an increasingly competitive, marketing-driven environment. This lively introductory session will discuss the key challenges faced by our sector in responding to the shifting expectations and demands of audiences, and share simple tips on strengthening these relationships online.

Making a Plan – Strategy Workshop

Take part in an informal group activity to develop an inventive, practical social media strategy. At the end of the workshop, you will have a better understanding of how to capitalize on the possibilities offered by social media in driving the growth of your creative business.

Creativity in Action – Digital Content Workshop

You’ve heard about the potential benefits of embedding digital strategies within your business, but how will creating and curating digital content actually work for you? This interactive workshop will show you how to capture, upload and share high-quality content using a variety of online platforms, to better leverage the power of your creative output.

Twilight Networking Reception and Artsbox Workshop

Artsbox is the new, free, online platform and mobile application designed for young people working towards their Arts Award. Produced by the Arts Award team, Artsbox is a safe and easy to use tool for capturing and evidencing Arts Award work online. In this quick introduction, we will share examples of how thousands of young people are already using Artsbox, and learn from Arts Award advisers as to how the app has helped them manage and evidence activity easily.

No experience required!

Don't be afraid - this is your chance to get started with simple social media tools, designed specifically for use with Arts Award. If you are already familiar with online publishing this is a great opportunity to get a deeper insight into how other arts practitioners are using social media and mobile.

You will hear from…
