This Diwali, MummyJi returns to the stage to bring you more talent and entertainment!
Rifco and Watford Palace Theatre, the team that brought you the award-winning musical Britain’s Got Bhangra and dance drama Break The Floorboards, once again bring you the hilarious variety show MummyJi Presents.
Taking place at Watford Palace Theatre from 7th to 9th November 2013, MummyJi is giving you a chance to be in her spectacular show and present your talent to the nation.
Rifco and Watford Palace Theatre are looking for up-and-coming British Asian talent to be part of this year’s show. Performers will have the opportunity to showcase their talent to a live theatre audience and online, whilst being part of a successful and professional production. Participants will also benefit from leading British Asian theatre company Rifco’s Artist Development, offering valuable insight, advice and networking within the entertainment industry.
Last year MummyJi Presents was commissioned by The Space, the new freely available digital arts platform from Arts Council England and the BBC. Showcasing nine up-and-coming talents, the show was sold-out at Watford Palace Theatre and was watched by thousands more online. Performers included international Indian musician Soumik Datta, girl band The Tuts, singer Rita Morar and dancer Nehal Bhogaita.
So if you’re a singer, dancer, magician, comedian or contortionist… whatever your talent, mummyji wants you!
