We are the Rickmansworth Waterways Trust.
An award winning heritage education charity based on the beautiful Grand Union Canal at Batchworth Lock in Rickmansworth.
We provide primary school education and trips, a trip boat, run a shop and information centre and look after and present our 1936 wooden narrowboat 'Roger'
We also organise and run the hugely sucessful Rickmansworth Festival during the 3rd weekend of May each year.
Our new Education Centre opened in March 2019 provides us with a fantastic opportunity to tell everyone about the history and use of the canals in and around Rickmansworth as well as providing a community space that is available for hire.
We are entirely volunteer led and won the Queens Award for Voluntary Service in 2017.
