Rectory Lane Cemetery / Spaces
Outdoor Venue for Artists and Performers
Looking for an outdoor space for your next performance or workshop? Then you may like to consider the Rectory Lane Cemetery.
This Victorian tree-filled cemetery is located in the heart of Berkhamsted Town Centre. One acre in size, with newly paved path-ways, the space is both atmospheric and accessible.
It has been used as a venue for a wide range of community events, including as a film location, a backdrop to live performances, and as an inspiring setting for workshops and public art events.
We are keen to welcome more performers and arts practitioners to explore our grounds as a potential venue for their next project.
As a place for commemoration in a residential area, we do have to be selective regarding the type of events that can be held in these grounds. We have a preference for quieter activities with a focus on community, heritage and nature.
The space can be used for free for non-profit events that require no supervision from our team. For events that require assistance or charge a ticket price, we would negotiate a fee.
