Images 35: Best of British Illustration 2011

The Association of Illustrators presents 'Images 35: Best of British Illustration 2011' - the most prestigious and comprehensive illustration competition, award book and touring exhibition in the UK.

'Images 35' showcases work by the UK's most talented illustrators, including new work from the big names in the industry. The exhibition provides the leading showcase for the variety of contemporary illustration commissioned in the UK today, published alongside self initiated promotional artwork and up-and-coming new talent.

Launched in 1976, AOI has organised images for the 35th time, marking a long history of promoting the best of contemporary British illustration.

The exhibition features luminaries in the field such as Ian Pollock, Simon Spilsbury and David Hughes and includes work by new talent that is driving future trends. The exhibition features over 400 artworks by 240 illustrators.

The 'Images 35' annual will be available to purchase from Plymouth College of Art whilst the exhibition is on display.

There will be an Exhibition Opening Event (with drinks) on Wednesday 7 March from 5:00pm - 7:30pm.
