Curtain Up On Murder
If you have ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes in theater, the next performance from The Pierrot Players is a must see. Curtain up on Murder, written by Bettine Manktelow, is a murder mystery thriller with a twist. The scene is set in a small theater where an amateur dramatics group is gathering for rehearsal. It is business as usual until an accident befalls one of the crew, leading to her death. No one suspects foul play until another member befalls tragedy. Trapped inside the building, the remaining members become suspicious of each other as the tension rises. No one knows who is behind the murders or who will be next. With a surprise ending, the show will leave you smiling, and perhaps wondering what those thespian types really get up to in rehearsals! Curtain Up On Murder guarantees an entertaining evening and something to talk about on the way home (or to the pub!). The show will be performed at the Shelley Village Hall from Wednesday 26 October – Saturday 29 October. Curtain rises at 7:30PM. Tickets are £6 and can be purchased at the door or from Shepley Newsagents and Shelley McColl's.
