Fine artist specialising in recycled materials through paint, textile processes and sculpture inspired by a lifetime of living beside the sea.

Also with a background of home interior furnishings, she designs and makes bespoke lampshades, cushions, throws and rugs for the contemporary home.

Initially, after completing her Arts degree, she worked and exhibited from a studio at Cockington Court in the late 1990's. Then in 2005-7 had a studio in Totnes. Petra
moved back to Cockington in 2016 for 3 years, to a studio at Seachange where she not only exhibited her work, she also ran classes and workshops.

She has taught workshops and courses at South Devon College Adult Education at Torquay, Paignton and Brixham since 2008.

Petra now works from her home studio and is looking forward, once Covid restrictions are safely lifted, to running courses and classes from 1 day workshops to residential textile mini- break retreats.
