Refraction

I enjoy working with clay and wanted the challenge of making a monumental piece by overcoming the limitations of the size of my kiln .
The surface is textured and coloured to reflect Cockington Court's garden. With the sun behind it the contained glass tubes refract the sunlight and create shadows on the white surface of the central tube
