Laetitia Yhap: Fishermen of Hastings Stade

A student of Camberwell and Slade during the late 1950s and early 1960s, Laetitia Yhap (b. 1941) studied life drawing under Euan Uglow and Frank Auerbach. Wishing to forge her own path she turned against drawing the figure for several years, before finally immersing herself in documenting the fishing community of Hastings Stade. This exhibition features a selection of drawings and paintings from the series created by Yhap over a 20-year period.
