Explore the process plaster casting to create some lovely botanical and flowers plaster-castings
During the workshop, you will explore the process involved in plaster casting and completing a clay mould, which will be used to reveal a plaster cast of botanical and flowers motives

Who is this Course For?
It is suitable for anyone that no prior knowledge is required.
Course Material
All materials are included; a selection of foliage’s and flowers will be supplied; however, we welcome to bring some blooms and plants, which are personal to you. They can be wildflowers, leaves and grasses, lavender, poppies, seedpods or anything that can be carefully selected and pressed into a 10 x 10-inch square.

About your Tutor
Sandra Salangana, is Watford based multidisciplinary artist, designer and tutor.
Originally trained in Interior Designs and Paint Techniques. Sandra blended her paint skills into painting murals and acrylic and oil canvases. Sandra had exhibited her art in London, Bahamas, Grand Cayman and Bermuda.

Sandra is passionate Jewellery designer and she had mastered her skills at Holts Academy in Hatton Gardens, London.

Sandra' s true inspiration are Ocean and Nature and her artwork reflect that passion. In words of Cicero:
" Art is born of the observation and investigation of nature"

One of Sandra’s greatest joys is to nurture creativity through teaching classes using the skills she acquired over the years.
