1950s pop-up cinema at Greenway
A pop-up 1950s Christmas cinema is coming to Agatha Christie's holiday home Greenway; a collection of films curated by Agatha Christie's grandson Mathew Prichard will be screened in a cosy vintage-style marquee in the Walled Garden.
The ticketed film showings will be held in a heated marquee in the Walled Garden, with a retro theme, popcorn available to buy and cinema ushers on hand. There will be two screenings on each day: 11am and 2pm. Each weekend a different classic Christie film will be screened, and those films will be repeated between Christmas and New Year, with a mystery film on New Year's Eve. The line-up of films is:
- 'Witness for the Prosecution' Saturday 2, Sunday 3 and Wednesday 27 December.
- 'And Then There Were None' Saturday 9, Sunday 10 and Thursday 28 December.
- 'Endless Night' Saturday 16, Sunday 17 and Friday 29 December.
- 'Evil Under The Sun' Saturday 23, Sunday 24 and Saturday 30 December.
- Mystery film, Sunday 31 December.
Standard seats: adult £14.50, child (3-15) £9.50, group (10+) £13.50. Premier seats: adult £19.50, child £14.50 (3-15). Normal admission prices to Greenway will apply.
