Delta Saxophone Quartet 30th Anniversary Tour

Rock Meets Reich….

Now in its 30th year, the Delta Saxophone Quartet has drawn its inspiration and repertoire from the rich and creative area where contemporary, classical, jazz and rock combine. This performance at the Phoenix forms part of a National Tour (supported by Arts Council England) featuring the new commission for the quartet: ‘Run Riot’ from Mark-Anthony Turnage.

Prepare to hear an exciting, challenging and invigorating performance which includes music by Soft Machine, Steve Reich, Mark-Anthony Turnage, Jimmy Giuffre, etc….. who could ask for anything more?
