Weave and Wine

A creative eco weaving workshop to relax into the festive season.

Join Lucy at the Broadway Gallery from 7-9pm for a creative relaxed festive weaving workshop. An adaptation of my usual circle weaving workshop, the evening will focus on creating texture and combining fibres and festive colours of gold, silver, red, white and green. No experience is needed. If you are already a weaver and want more of a challenge, learn how to weave one of her star designs.

Your ticket includes a glass of mulled wine to enjoy while you relax in the rhythm of weave. The Broadway Gallery’s pop-up bar will be open for additional creative inspiration.

All materials and equipment are provided with a large selection of fibres for you to choose from including recycled sari silk ribbon, recycled plastic yarns, natural fibres including pineapple, banana, and surplus wools, cottons and fabrics.

As with Lucy's eco weaving workshops most of the fibres supplied will be good quality waste and surplus to requirement yarns. You are welcome to bring yarns from your own craft stash to include in your weaving however this isn’t necessary.

Tickets for this event are £25. Places are limited and need to be booked in advance.
