Hoddesdon and Cheshunt Libraries Artist in Residence

We’re so excited to announce Casey Joy as our new My Story: Artist in Residence. CJ is a passionate mixed media artist who creates from the heart; blending intuition and spontaneity to offer people a sense of home. In October and November they will be leading exciting workshops and drop-in sessions of photography, painting, drawing, collage, and design at Hoddesdon and Cheshunt Libraries as part of our county wide My Story project. CJ has worked with communities across the country, helping them express themselves through art and learn new skills. A full schedule of events for you to join in will be announces soon.

CJ says: ”My residency with Hertfordshire Libraries will be all about ‘home’. This concept really resonates with me, especially in Hoddesdon, where I spent much of my youth. Through workshops and community collaboration I want to help others to tap into their own creativity and find that sense of connection and belonging through art. Home IS where the heart is and through this residency I’m thrilled to contribute to Hoddesdon and Cheshunt’s vibrant artistic community.”
