Callout for artists and creative practitioners

With the closing deadline of 5pm, 18th November less than a week ago we would like to remind all Hertfordshire artists and creative practitioners about our exciting opportunities. We are looking for two new Artists in Residence at Hertfordshire Libraries.

The My Story project aims to provide low to no cost opportunities for residents to experience art and culture. We also seek to explore the role art can play in health and wellbeing through providing the opportunity for artists to work in library spaces. The paid opportunities are:

Bishop’s Stortford Library
* Feb-March 2025
* 56.25 hours
* £1592.85 - £2588.32 (according to AUE rates)
* Particularly welcomes applicants with experience in sculpting, textile art, printing or video production

Oxhey Library
* March - April 2025
* 56.25 hours
* £1592.85 - £2588.32 (according to AUE rates)
* Particularly welcomes applicants with experience in upcycling, sculpture, photography or cartooning
