Celebrate Easter in clay with Elizabeth Cahill (evening)

Join me for an evening working with clay creating your own personal gifts and decorations in time for Easter. Whether it’s egg cups, hanging decorations, woven egg baskets or a platter for your hot cross buns, no experience is needed as I will help you make your ideas come to life. T
his shorter class allows you to learn basic but important hand building techniques such as pinching, coiling and slab building and is the perfect way to start ceramics as a hobby. As a group, you will enjoy getting creative, experimenting with clay in a friendly environment and unwinding the stress of the day with a glass of wine and some Easter themed treats.

£30 per class or £55 for both

• This course is suitable for those with little to no experience of ceramics.
• Up to 600g of Stoneware clay, hand building tools and firing included.
• Pieces may be decorated with underglaze during the session and will later by dipped in a clear glaze by Elizabeth after the bisque firing stage. If you wish to glaze your pieces instead you will need to attend an additional workshop at a coast of £25 which can be arranged and agreed on the day.
• Wine, tea, coffee and easter treats are provided on the day.
• Artwork must be collected by each student from the studio after firing. You will receive an email to notify you. The drying and firing process can take up to 2 weeks.
• Please note that full payments for our classes and workshops must be received in advance to ensure a place is booked. The fee is non-refundable unless the class or workshop is cancelled by Potten Farm Studios
• The building is wheelchair accessible.
