Workshop Leader WANTED A.S.A.P

Letchworth Young People’s Company is a relatively new theatre company situated in Letchworth Garden City. After the success of their production ‘Through a Childs Eyes’ we are now looking to recruit an experienced workshop leader to carry on the legacy of the company by helping to inspire those young people involved to conceive new and exciting theatre productions across a range of performance disciplines.

Rehearsals will take place on Saturdays from 13:00 - 14:30 during term time only. Each session will be charged at £3.00 per person. This will have to be paid 4 weeks in advance to help cover and maintain secure payment for the workshop leader. Basically, the more who attend the higher the rate of pay will be. This will take a lot of drive for the workshop leader to promote the company in the most positive manner and encourage active participation.

He/she will report to Maria Iredale, CEO of Letchworth Arts Centre. Maria will be the main source of information and will be applying for future funding for LYPC’s future productions. This could mean a possible pay rise and control of a full production leading to part-time work
