The Knitting & Crochet Guild has a huge collection of textiles and all things related to knitting, crochet and machine knitting in the UK. It is housed in a converted mill in Slaithwaite.
The collection is completely looked after by volunteers and supported by members subscriptions. We have recently been awarded a Heritage Fund grant to digitise part of the collection.
