Ideas Lab

This Ideas Lab provides an opportunity for artists and producers to share and develop their ideas as well as meet potential collaborators prior to applying for a Kaleider commission. Last time we did an event like this it threw up several wonderful project ideas.

We are looking to commission a minimum of 2 new pieces of live work that interrupt the people of Exeter in a meaningful way. There is up to £9,000 available for each commission. The live work will need to take place before the end of March 2015.

All applicants to our commission call must normally have attended a Kaleider Ideas Lab.

The commission call invites you to consider the question:

‘ Can we tell each other stories that help us turn and face some of the greatest challenges of our times?

Love | Food | Technology | Leadership | Justice

This is an open call for proposals but we would like the artists or the work proposed to have a sustained relationship with Exeter in some way . It might be that you live or work here, but it could also be another kind of relationship.
