Don't Call Me Pretty

Don't Call Me Pretty (DCMP) is a work which originated out of my own desire to understand my prejudice against textiles and embroidery, my favourite a material and process. The DCMP Jacket was a personal rebellion against constraints and stereotypes of 'women's work' and embroidery. It is my version of a modern day banner.
