This image is a close-up of the 2nd painting of a triptych entitled 'Tubes Knitting Chains'. The 'Knitting' figure is in a state of perpetual introspection, she contemplates her own physicality (Tubes) and the chains she weaves. The triptych is a metaphor for the human condition.
