Once I had acrylics out, I wanted to see what happened when I transferred on of my drawings to canvas, still using the same few acrylic paints, aiming for colours that tone with my 'light city' coloured drawings. I'm not sure if I like the result as a canvas (but then I'm used to my original drawings), but I do think it's rather fine as a small gift tag or card.
I printed my original drawing rather larger, over seveal sheets of A4, cut them out, chalked out the outlines, and then set about trying to re-create the image. I have to say it took several attempts to even get to here, and that's perhaps because I was trying to copy something, rather than draw from my minds eye.
