Perfect Partnership Loves Art

An exciting new partnership promises an art extravaganza at South Mill Arts in Bishop’s Stortford.

The arts and heritage venue offers a rich blend of the arts, including theatre, music, and movies. By partnering with Herts Visual Arts Forum (HVAF), it will treat its visitors to amazing displays of art courtesy of HVAF members.

The two organisations already know each other well. South Mill Arts hosts HVAF’s Big Makers Fair and is a regular venue during Herts Open Studios, HVAF’s flagship annual event in September. HVAF is Herts’ premier community of artists and art lovers who share their love and knowledge of art with events, workshops and exhibitions throughout the county.

‘Partnering with venues is the perfect way to raise awareness of local art and promote great locations across Herts,’ says Sally Taylor, Chair of not-for-profit HVAF. ‘We’re returning to South Mill Arts for our Big Makers Fair on 18 and 19 May. This year’s event will feature 25 artists and focus on 3D art including jewellers, sculptors, potters, weavers and more!

‘It’s great to welcome South Mill Arts as our newest partner. There are exciting, mutual benefits for everyone involved, such as advertising space and social media support. Ultimately, we have the same goal … to showcase and promote the amazing talent in Herts’ artist community.’
