Support Officer - Music Admin. Permanent; Full Time (37 hours per week); £17,372 – £19,048 pa; based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Closing Date 31/05/15

Hertfordshire Music Service is part of the County Council and the lead partner for the Hertfordshire Music Hub. As the largest Music Service in the UK, it operates 13 Music Centres around the county, provides peripatetic tuition in most Hertfordshire schools and runs a thriving programme of challenging group activities for advanced young players and singers outside term time.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and musically knowledgeable administrator with proven organisational and diplomacy skills to join the County Activities team in delivering their programme around the county.

You will be a good communicator and proficient IT user with a keen eye for detail, and have a degree in Music or taken part regularly in a grade 8 plus ensemble. You will have access to a car or public transport and be able to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends, and most of the school holidays. The post holder will report to the Head of Activities & Projects and work closely with the team based in Hatfield.
