Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre Chapter and Verse

Hertford has many Literary connections, from the first play in English to TS Elliot's 'Four Quartets'. On this walk we will meet the 'Hertfordshire Pepys', as well as poets ranging from a contemporary of Wordsworth to a poet of World War I. We will also hear about an early historian and a cookery writer. Join us to find out where Mr Darcy refused to dance with Elizabeth Bennet.
