Contemporary music powerhouse Ensemble Musikfabrik are dedicated to artistic innovation, with new and unknown works a staple of their productions. hcmf// is delighted to welcome them back to Huddersfield to see them join forces with roaring free jazz saxophonist Peter Brötzmann, delivering a performance stacked with music never before performed in the UK – including the first instalment solos from the ensemble’s 16 x 2 x Solo project, a series of works commissioned by the ensemble’s soloists from the composers of their choice.
