Glowglobes are the Bristol-based acoustic duo, John and Laura Pocket. With a combination of double bass, guitar, harmonica and mouth trumpet - along with stunning vocal harmonies - Glowglobes create a highly original blend of off-beat folk, country and gypsy swing. Their hypnotic performance style has charmed and enthralled audiences all over the country and beyond. Their shows combine a mix of high energy, foot-tapping numbers with sumptuous, magical balladry. They have played at the Glastonbury and Larmer Tree Festivals as well as touring extensively in Europe. John recently performed here with Jane Taylor. Support comes from local duo "Fly Yeti Fly" featuring the wonderful harmonies of Lorna Somerville and Darren Fisher.
