High Cross House Call to all Artists and Designers
High Cross House at Dartington is now under National Trust Management. We open to the public on March 7th 2012. We are very excited about this new partnership with Dartington and aim to build a community led art and design centre that becomes not only a hub for locals to enjoy on a regular basis but a premier destination art and design centre.
High Cross House is one of the top five modernist houses in the country and we aim to continue its architectural legacy showcasing cutting edge work from primarily Southwest artists alongside internationally recognised creatives.
We are calling all artists and designers, emerging and established, to submit work for solo, group and collaborative exhibitions. Artists working in all disciplines may apply. We have set the theme as 'Naked' as in pure form, for the first year as we reach out to the community who will adorn and dress the house with their ideas and inspirations.
We also have opportunity for artists and designers to work as resident practitioners at High Cross House.
