Corn Exchange
The Corn Exchange was built at Doncaster Market in the 19th century. It was designed to be a concert hall as well as a market building and Elgar conducted the London Symphony Orchestra here in 1909.
Nowadays, the venue houses a wider range of quality retailers and there is a dedicated craft area with regular creative classes.
The Forum is where arts and crafts traders produce goods while you wait and there is an attractive balcony tearoom.
It would be great to see more live performance in this beautiful building.
Normal market days are Tuesday and Friday, 9am - 4pm and Saturday, 9am - 4.30pm.
