Cusworth Hall & Park / Events / Wed 15 May 2019
Museums at Night, War and Peace
Wednesday 15 May 2019 - 6.30pm
In the centenary year of the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, and the Peace celebrations that followed in Doncaster and across the country, we remember those who fought, those who refused to fight and those left behind.
Internationally renowned singer-songwriters Findlay Napier, Greg Russell and Bella Hardy present an intimate evening of storytelling and song, inspired by stories from the archives, and those collected with Doncaster people through Doncaster 1914-18. Accompanied by projection by Doncaster based artist Wayne Sables.
The event will take place in the Salon at Cusworth Hall and will be accompanied by projections and displays in the library.
Tickets cost £10 - Bookings can be made over the phone or in person at Cusworth reception. (Saturday-Wednesday when the Hall is open)
