Life's a Beach Hut

Mysterious beach huts will wash ashore at Dewsbury on Sea – can you help fill them with stories and adventure?

All ages and abilities are needed to take part in free creative workshops where, with a little help, you can get hands-on creating five themed beach huts.

The beach huts will hold the stories of the people of Dewsbury, telling tales of home, belonging, journeys, travel and community. It’s up to you to decide how. Maybe you’ll even dig up a hidden talent in the process.

Drop-in free workshops are running:
Wednesday 19 August, 10am-5pm (closed for lunch 1-2pm)
Thursday 20 August, 12pm-7pm (closed for lunch 3-4pm)
Saturday 22 August, 10am-5pm (closed for lunch 1-2pm)
Wednesday 26 August, 10am-5pm (closed for lunch 1-2pm)
Thursday 27 August, 12pm-7pm (closed for lunch 3-4pm)

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
