2012 Whitstable Biennale Satellite Open Call for Proposals

The 2012 Whitstable Biennale Satellite open call for proposals is now open!

Visit www.whitstablesatellite.com for information about this year's Satellite programme and newly launched Satellite Membership scheme, which will offer opportunities such as talks, crits, trips and professional development opportunities to artists, curators and cultural practitioners during the Biennale as well as throughout the year.

The 2012 Satellite offers artists a free platform to present their work alongside the Whitstable Biennale, an internationally recognised visual arts festival. Artists from Kent and beyond are invited to propose projects for the 2012 Satellite. There is no curatorial theme for the Satellite, but all projects should take place in Whitstable or have a relationship to the area. Projects in the past have ranged from exhibitions, films, performance, publications, music and dance.

The Satellite will take place during the Biennale from 1-16th September. The main programme will take place over the three weekends, with an education programme taking place during the week.
